Terms & Conditions

Your booking will only be confirmed on receipt of your deposit which will be equivalent to one nights stay for each week (or part of 1 week) you wish to stay with us. We will send you, either electronically, or by post, a confirmation showing you the price for your break and any additional charges. If any of the details are wrong, or change, especially your address, please inform us.

Should you need to cancel your booking, your deposit will not be returned unless we can rebook the room, in which case your deposit can be carried forward for up to 6 months. Your initial deposit is a non-returnable booking fee covering the administrative costs that we incur in processing your reservation. This forms part of your total payment to us.

If you need to cancel your booking please inform us as soon as you are able. This
should be done by telephone
If the cancellation is made within 2 weeks of your arrival we reserve the right to request full payment of your accommodation if the room cannot be rebooked.

Generally

All our accommodation is strictly non-smoking.
You can smoke in the garden.

Arrival is between 1pm – 3pm please advise us if you will be arriving outside these times
Departure Before 10.30am

We will do our best to cater for all dietary needs but you should notify us in advance so we can plan.

Pets are allowed only with our prior agreement. They must not be left in the room alone under any circumstances except during breakfast or evening meals.

You should use your accommodation with care and leave it in a clean and tidy condition on departure. We reserve the right to charge you for any extra cleaning, missing items or damage. If you do find any damage, please inform us straight away so we can put it right before the next guests arrive.

Wi-Fi is provided free but is not guaranteed.

Take-aways are not allowed to be brought into rooms. We allow the consumption of takeaways in the garden and may be consumed in the dining room only by prior arrangement.

Alcohol which has not been bought from the bar is not allowed to be consumed on the premises.

We are a quiet respectful guest house, anyone causing a disturbance will be asked to leave with no refund.

Please remember we are a family, and this is our home. We are not always around, and we do have our own commitments away from the guest house.

Mobility Scooters Terms of Hire

By hiring one of our mobility scooters you agree to be responsible for it at all times until the key is handed back.
This includes safekeeping and protection from the elements, theft, vandalism and improper use.
If the scooter is involved in any accident resulting in injury to persons, damage to property, or damage to the scooter itself, it is your responsibility to report and cover any costs.
If the scooter is returned damaged, or not returned at all, you must cover the full cost of repair or replacement.
If we feel the scooter is not being used responsibly or competently, we have the right to terminate the hire agreement.
